I grew up around firearms, going to the range with my father, learning to shoot a shotgun in Boy Scouts, and learning to love firearms culture.  In High School, I fell in love with machining, spending 4 years in the fantastic machining program at Napa High.  After high school, I worked as a Machinist and in the gun shop at Sweeney’s in Napa.  Once I realized I could combine these two loves as a Gunsmith, I knew it was what I wanted to do. I spent two years in Montana training before returning to my home in Napa Valley to open High Velocity Gunworks.

High Velocity Gunworks offers basic Gunsmithing services such as cleanings, repairs, stippling, installation, and upgrades as well as more advanced services.  I have both the equipment and experience to do advanced work that is sometimes hard to find.  Threading, chokes, chambering, custom rifles, recoil pads, adjustable stock hardware, US service rifle National Match configuration, bedding and much more.

While I don’t do bluing or checkering, I have trusted sources for this very specialized work.
